well my friend was crushing on Zayn she just kept showing me pics of him and then i asked her who is he and she said he was in a band called One Direction. Then i was like are they good and she said she liked them. Then one day 3/9/12 to be exact she played one of their songs for me which was One Thing and fell in love with them  :) x
